Vascular Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vascular Nurse Specialist to join our team at Transformation Unit.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with vascular disease, working closely with other professionals and organisations to ensure seamless care.
This role involves examining and assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and working within nurse-led clinics and comprehensive follow-up services.
Main Responsibilities- Support the Senior Vascular Nurse Specialist and Vascular Surgeon in providing appropriate care to patients.
- Deliver a holistic service that reflects current clinical practice and critical thinking.
- Work in partnership with other professionals to enable patients to be maintained in an appropriate environment.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programmes for nursing and non-nursing colleagues.
- Work across South Yorkshire, covering Vascular services at multiple sites.
We are looking for a candidate with existing band 6 experience, wound care experience, and evidence of continuous professional development.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of local and national developments in nursing, medical practice, and policies.
They will also possess computer literacy skills, including knowledge of databases, PowerPoint, word processing, and patient record systems.
