Position Overview

Role Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Agile Project Facilitator with extensive experience in the financial services sector, particularly in payment systems such as SEPA, BACS, CHAPS, and SWIFT. The successful candidate will champion agile methodologies within diverse teams to ensure the delivery of superior software products, improve team dynamics, and promote ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Leadership: Guide and oversee daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure compliance with Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Project Oversight: Supervise the sprint backlog, monitor progress, and guarantee the timely achievement of project objectives. Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Team Development: Cultivate a cooperative and efficient team atmosphere. Address and mitigate any team obstacles and disputes. Provide mentorship to team members on Agile practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders. Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and challenges to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for enhancement within the Agile framework. Implement best practices to maximize team efficiency and project success.
  • Documentation and Metrics: Maintain precise records of Agile ceremonies, backlog items, and performance metrics. Prepare and deliver reports on team effectiveness and project progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles. Familiarity with financial and payment systems, including SEPA, BACS, CHAPS, and SWIFT.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with varied teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management applications. Knowledge of development and deployment tools is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and payment processing standards.
