We are seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our dynamic reservations team at Valor Hospitality Europe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maximizing revenue opportunities and providing exceptional customer experiences.
The Role:As our Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for coordinating group and transient business demands, working closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Maximize revenue opportunities through effective management of group and transient bookings.
- Utilize excellent administrative and communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of group business from initial inquiry to departure.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to guarantee all group sector bookings are accurate and meet guest expectations.
- Handle inquiries and bookings via telephone and our online booking system, converting inquiries into confirmed sales.
- Process, amend, and update bookings as necessary, ensuring optimal occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain constant communication with the reception and other relevant teams about occupancy levels, special events, and VIP guests.
- Participate in quarterly incentives, driving performance and enhancing team morale.
- Experience in Hotel Reservations, Groups, or Front Desk operations, with a solid understanding of hotel booking systems.
- Proficient in using hotel management systems such as Delphi & Opera PMS.
- A problem-solver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing complex bookings and guest requirements.
