Job Description

Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Haddington Care Home. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and leading a variety of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Create and manage monthly rolling programs as well as individual activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being among residents.
  • Event Planning: Organize and execute events, workshops, and activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with the Home Manager and other team members to ensure seamless execution of activities and programs.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, including attendance, feedback, and program evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driving License: Essential for transporting residents or materials as needed.
  • Event Planning Skills: Proven ability to develop and organize engaging events and activities.
  • Creativity and Confidence: A friendly, creative, and confident personality that shines through in your work.
  • Passion for Elderly Care: A genuine interest in working with the elderly, helping them live life to the fullest.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
