The Production Controller is a member of the production team dedicated to programming. They will plan and manage production tasks to improve production time.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist in the production of cutting sheets, production control sheets and route cards
- Maintain production department files and records
- Produce cutting sheets, production control sheets and route cards
- Plan and priorities production to meet deadlines
- Report any non-conformities on Mango (HSE System)
- Reduce wastage by optimising cutting and making best use of stock and off-cut materials
- Ensuring ‘on time’ availability of material for machine planning
- Update Programme Manager daily on the production jobs and highlighting any high risks
- Provide input into continual improvement to maximise cost savings
- Coordinate with Production Supervisor in resolving planning and control issues

Authorities, Interface, Reporting and Supervision
- Line report to the Production Supervisor
- Liaise with procurement and planners
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Manager and other Production employees
- Interface with Supervisor / Chargehands & QHSE Manager

**Health, Safety, Quality & Environment**
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures
- Maintain a high standard in HSE attitude and behaviour
- Report any observed unsafe actions and conditions on Mango

**Skills, Knowledge and Attributes**
- Knowledge of fabrication and planning processes
- Ability to read and work from detailed drawings
- Good knowledge on use of StruMIS (or similar design packages) and drawing packages
- Good organisation skills
- Highly computer literate

**Salary**: £37,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
