About the Role
The Very Group is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Lead to join our Group Legal Team based in Speke. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulations, serving as a liaison for the Board, and overseeing corporate governance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders in different functions to ensure effective governance and compliance.
- Manage corporate governance tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that all legal requirements are met.
- Handle contractual agreements with key partners, advising on risks and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor legal requirements and propose actions to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the Board to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Solicitor with experience in corporate law. You should have strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex legal matters effectively, and a minimum of 6 years PQE.
