Health and Fitness Supervisor

We are in search of a dynamic and skilled Health and Fitness Supervisor to enhance our fitness offerings and ensure every member enjoys an outstanding experience.
Role Overview: As the Health and Fitness Supervisor, you will oversee the fitness experience within the facility, directly managing freelance personal trainers and group exercise instructors. You will mentor the fitness team to deliver exceptional service, manage member onboarding, optimize group exercise schedules to meet member needs, and cultivate a vibrant atmosphere with meaningful interactions for every member.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Recruitment and Development: Recruit, onboard, train, and support Personal Trainers and Group Exercise instructors. Conduct structured weekly development reviews with all hybrid Personal Trainers. Provide education on all offerings within the Fitness First App.
Fitness Floor Engagement: Ensure the fitness team is actively present on the gym floor, delivering high-quality interactions to enhance member engagement.
Member Onboarding and Experience: Take ownership of the new member journey by ensuring availability for onboarding sessions. Lead the activation and execution of signature programs specific to your facility. Act as an ambassador for Fitness First classes and signature offerings.
Group Exercise Coordination: Ensure a minimum of 15 signature classes are delivered weekly by you and your team, and personally lead at least 5 group exercise classes each week. Recruit and retain top-tier group exercise freelancers to provide exceptional licensed and freestyle classes. Communicate opportunities for member engagement with your broader fitness team.
Operational Excellence: Maintain pristine training environments with clean, safe, and functional gym and studio areas. Serve as a role model for all staff, exemplifying operational excellence. Keep your team informed about the latest trends and developments in the fitness industry, as well as company product knowledge and initiatives.
Duty Management: Ensure a welcoming and positive experience for every member at all times. Provide an excellent onboarding experience and facility tour for every guest. Guide members to group exercise classes and schedule one-on-one sessions. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, staff appearance, and identification in the facility. Lead safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Ensure all staff are clear on their responsibilities and tasks during each shift. Deliver consistent duty management, including member area proficiency and staff conduct.
