About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Adjuster to join our team at Aviva. As a Commercial Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling customer claims of up to £100k, conducting physical site inspections, and investigating and negotiating commercial claims proactively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site inspections to assess, validate, and manage commercial claims
  • Investigate and negotiate commercial claims in accordance with agreed competency levels
  • Support customers and stakeholders throughout the claims process
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Commercial Property system at Aviva to control indemnity spend
  • Frequent travel will be required for this position, with visits to our London office as needed
Requirements
  • Good technical knowledge and experience of commercial insurance claims
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, meeting customer needs through expertise and integrity, partnered with excellent communication skills
  • Property construction understanding and awareness of flood/fire damage management principles, health and safety regulations, and relevant legislation
  • IT literacy and ability to learn new technology
  • Good organisational/time management skills
