Procurement Manager Indirect

The Nigel Wright Group is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager Indirect to join their Supply Chain and Procurement Team. This exciting opportunity offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days spent on-site, and excellent prospects for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-territory indirect spend, including Capex, MRO, and Logistics. Key duties will include:
- Developing and implementing category strategies to drive business value
- Conducting complex contract negotiations and resourcing/retendering activities
- Leading project/change management initiatives
- Monitoring supplier performance against cost, quality, and delivery metrics
- Fostering collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to implement global contracts across multiple plants
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a proven track record in strategic procurement, having developed and implemented procurement strategies within a global business. You should also have experience in leading teams, procurement category management, and supplier performance management. Additionally, you will need to be an excellent communicator, able to build relationships quickly and effectively, and possess strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
