The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring a variety of service contracts, ensuring that best value is achieved for our clients, in accordance and compliance with our company policies and associated regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-value, full, end-to-end tender processes, including leading tenders, developing tender strategies, and contract management.
  • Procurement/contract management experience from within IT, hard and/or soft FM, and professional services categories is essential.
  • Utilize e-procurement portals and/or possess technical competence in Office applications.
  • Build relationships with multifunctional senior stakeholders, guiding them on procurement best practice.
  • Commercially focused, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Requirements

  • Public or Private sector indirect procurement experience will be considered, although some knowledge of Public Sector Procurement would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record in managing high-value, full, end-to-end tender processes.
  • Accustomed to utilising e-procurement portals and/or technically competent, skilled in Office applications.
  • Resilient with strong influencing and confident communication skills.

About You

The successful Senior Buyer will have/be:

  • Public or Private sector indirect procurement experience will be considered, although some knowledge of Public Sector Procurement would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record in managing high-value, full, end-to-end tender processes.
  • Procurement/contract management experience from within one or more the following categories essential - IT, hard and/or soft FM, professional services.
  • Accustomed to utilising e-procurement portals and/or technically competent, skilled in Office applications.
  • Resilient with strong influencing and confident communication skills.
  • Accustomed to building relationships swiftly with multifunctional senior stakeholders, guiding upon procurement best practice.
  • Commercially focused, proactive with a strong eye for detail.
