Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Infoblox Support Engineer for a contract role that offers full remote work flexibility. This position is specifically for candidates located in the UK and operates outside of IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Grid Management

  • Facilitate the addition of new Grid Members through CLI.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Grid Join processes.
  • Collaborate with the Firewall Team to ensure necessary ports are licensed.
  • Oversee Grid and Service Licenses via the Infoblox Support Portal.
  • Execute the upload of Grid and Service Licenses using both CLI and GUI methods.

DDI Configuration

  • Establish DNS Name Server Groups.
  • Implement DHCP Failover Associations.
  • Develop Network Views.
  • Create Extensible Attributes.
  • Import IPAM Networks and Network Containers from CSV files.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

  • Set up Admins, Admin Groups, Roles, and Permissions.
  • Limit access to GUI, API, or CLI as necessary.

Certificate Authority Management

  • Generate Certificate Signing Requests (CSR) for Infoblox.
  • Upload certificates signed by a Certificate Authority.

Documentation Responsibilities

  • Revise and update Detailed-level Design Documents.
  • Prepare Handover Documentation for the Service Desk.
