As a Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional needs of our pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Our school is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that allows our pupils to thrive. We are looking for someone who shares our vision and is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teaching and learning process by providing individualised support to pupils with SEMH difficulties
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour choices
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the needs of all pupils are met
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support the development of pupils' social, emotional and mental health skills
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEMH difficulties
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
