Key Responsibilities:
As a casual chef, your duties will include:
- Team Collaboration: Functioning as a vital part of our kitchen brigade to ensure seamless operations.
- Recipe Adherence: Skillfully following recipes to maintain high standards of quality and consistency in meal preparation.
- Hygiene Standards: Upholding and promoting rigorous health, hygiene, and allergen protocols.
- Inventory Management: Managing deliveries, stock rotation, and necessary compliance documentation.
- Flexibility: Assisting in various kitchen tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a professional kitchen environment (preferred).
- The ability to meet deadlines set by senior kitchen staff.
- Proficiency in producing high-quality dishes.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, HACCP, and allergen management.
- Food Safety Level 2 Certification (or equivalent).
