Job Summary:
C&E Recruitment is seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join a Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms in a beautiful boutique property. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a Michelin-starred setting and be able to bring vision and depth of knowledge to the existing menu offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a menu that showcases seasonal garden produce and fits alongside the tasting menu.
- Lead a team of chefs and provide guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of cuisine are maintained.
- Work closely with the chef patron to ensure the menu aligns with the restaurant's vision and values.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff management.
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Sous or Head Chef in a Michelin-starred setting.
- Knowledge of seasonal garden produce and ability to create menus that showcase this.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Calming and composed persona, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Ability to drive or live locally to the area.
What We Offer:
- Salary basic of up to £50,000 depending on experience.
- 4 days on, 3 days off.
- £300-£600 a month in service.
- Meals on duty.
- Good service training provided.
- Fun, fast-paced environment.
- Live-in available for relocation only.
