We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented senior sales individual to join our high-performing sales team. As a Key Account Manager - Subscriptions, you will be responsible for working across 16 brands within the information subscription sales department, covering EMEA and East Coast inbound enquiries.
Job Role:
- Proactively call and engage with all incoming prospects, following up on first-time logins, pay wall hits, and email clicks from marketing campaigns.
- Work across a number of information subscription titles, seeking out new opportunities and building a strong pipeline of potential customers and business via existing client base, networking, and other means.
- Research and understand the market, working closely with the Sales Team Leader to identify and target key sectors, through intelligent use of information and data produced.
- Book multiple virtual meetings daily with decision-makers in relevant organizations.
- Ensure all sales support tasks are completed accurately and to specified deadlines.
- Deliver positive, well-researched, and tailored sales presentations to prospective customers, including researching the prospective customer and identifying relevant profiles/articles in advance of meetings.
Profile of Candidate:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience, with subscription-based products preferred.
- An interest in Private Equity and the enthusiasm to learn more about the industry.
- Experience interacting and engaging with customers/clients in a professional work environment.
- Experience selling a product or service and working in a goal-focused environment.
- Sales skills and techniques, including negotiation, objection handling, and providing product demonstrations.
