We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager in a dual-registration home. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for children, maximising their life chances.
- Assist in the daily management of two dual-registered homes, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and security.
- Contribute to the Care Planning process by attending conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and participate in supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
- Work with the management team to prepare and implement a rota system ensuring the safety and care of children.
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Desirable qualifications include CQSW/DipSW/NVQ 4 in Care or Management, Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People), or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- At least one year of management experience and two years in a children's residential setting or similar services.
- Demonstrable knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS certificate required.
- Salary: £34,000 - £36,000
