Technical Designer - AutoCAD Expert

Austin Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Technical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD to join their Design team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Design and Build, Detail and Build, Architecture, or Design Consultancy, with a strong understanding of UK building systems, regulations, and construction methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and coordinate production, tender, and construction package information for predominantly Detail and Build projects.
  • Produce technical output at each project stage, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support on-site and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
  • Undertake site surveys as required and attend site/project meetings to ensure effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Fully proficient in AutoCAD and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of technical skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative to solve technical issues.
  • Confident and able to work with a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to international luxury brands.
