Job Title: Principal Process Safety Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Safety Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our Process Safety team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of safety projects in a range of high-risk industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, clean energy, nuclear, built environment, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the delivery of safety projects, ensuring they are completed on budget and to the client's satisfaction.
  2. Develop and implement Process Safety Management Systems.
  3. Conduct formal safety assessments, including quantitative risk assessments and occupied building risk assessments.
  4. Lead on consequence and risk modelling.
  5. Manage teams of consultants to support project delivery.
  6. Support business and service development to help grow the business.
Requirements:
  • Highly skilled in process safety techniques, including HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, ALARP, CBA, OBRA, CFD, LOPA, and COMAH safety.
  • Excellent technical report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of other regulatory regimes.
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
