Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Site Manager to join our Building Division in South East. As a Site Manager at GRAHAM Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Oversee site safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor progress against project plans and schedules, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues proactively.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Manage site documentation, including permits, drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimise site performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant construction-related qualifications or certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) preferred.
