Sales Assistant Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at Sports Direct. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Greet and assist customers with their inquiries, providing a positive and engaging shopping experience
* Develop and maintain product knowledge to provide recommendations and advice to customers
* Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers
* Handle cash transactions and operate the point of sale (POS) system efficiently
* Restock shelves and ensure products are presented to a high standard
* Support the team in achieving store targets and promotions

**Requirements**

* Passion for sports, fashion, and fitness
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* Previous retail experience is a plus, but not essential
