The Opportunity

As a DE&I Program Specialist Intern, you will play a vital role in shaping our DE&I strategy and initiatives. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at enhancing diversity and inclusion across our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate DE&I principles into organizational strategies and operations.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategic programs focused on disability awareness and neurodiversity within the UK market.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking studies to identify industry best practices and trends in DE&I.
  • Support Employee Groups ('EGs') dedicated to diversity and inclusion, particularly those focused on disability and the EMEA Regional Network.
  • Contribute to internal and external communications that promote our DE&I initiatives and achievements.
Objectives

Implement DEI Program: Disability Awareness

  • Collaborate with the DE&I team to define program objectives and strategies for disability awareness in the UK.
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, events, or campaigns related to disability awareness.
  • Monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and key performance indicators.

Conduct DEI Research into Disability & Neurodiversity in the United Kingdom

  • Analyze DE&I reports and studies from other organizations to identify relevant trends and insights.
  • Benchmark our organization's performance against industry standards for disability inclusion.
  • Prepare a comprehensive summary of key findings and recommendations for improvement, incorporating learnings into future DE&I projects.

Support our Employee Groups & Regional Networks

  • Assist in organizing meetings and activities for Employee Groups focused on diversity and inclusion.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among Employee Group members and the EMEA Regional Network.
  • Gather feedback from Employee Groups to inform and enhance our DE&I strategies.

Contribute to DEI Communications

  • Draft compelling content for newsletters, social media platforms, and internal announcements that highlight our DE&I initiatives and accomplishments.
  • Assist in coordinating DE&I-focused events or campaigns to raise awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries related to our DE&I efforts in a timely and informative manner.
