Position Overview

As an Inclusion and Equity Intern, you will play a vital role in the formulation, execution, and enhancement of our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. Your contributions will significantly impact our mission to foster an inclusive and fair workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion within our organization.
  • Work collaboratively with essential stakeholders to weave DE&I initiatives into the fabric of our organizational strategies.

Goals

Develop DEI Program: Disability Awareness

Goal: Support the creation and rollout of our Disability Awareness program.

Main Activities:

  • Partner with DEI team members to outline program goals and strategies.
  • Organize logistics for workshops, events, or outreach campaigns.
  • Assess and analyze the program's success through participant feedback and performance metrics.

Conduct DEI Research on Disability & Neurodiversity in the UK:

Goal: Perform benchmarking studies and research to uncover industry trends and best practices in DEI.

Main Activities:

  • Review DEI reports and research from various organizations.
  • Compare our organization's performance against industry benchmarks.
  • Compile a summary of significant findings and suggestions for enhancement.
  • Utilize insights to effectively contribute to DEI projects and initiatives.

Support Employee Groups & Regional Networks

Goal: Offer assistance and direction to Employee Groups focused on diversity and inclusion, particularly the Disability group and the EMEA Regional Network.

Main Activities:

  • Aid in organizing meetings and activities for Employee Groups.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among members of Employee Groups and Regional Networks.
  • Gather feedback from Employee Groups and Regional Networks to inform our DEI strategies.

Enhance DEI Communications

Goal: Contribute to both internal and external communications that highlight DEI initiatives and achievements.

Main Activities:

  • Draft content for newsletters, social media, or internal communications.
  • Assist in coordinating DEI-focused events or campaigns.
  • Address inquiries related to DEI efforts.
