Lecturer in International Business and Strategy

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our dynamic and vibrant Leadership, Work and Organization (LWO) Subject Group at Newcastle University Business School. As a Lecturer in International Strategy and Business, you will be part of a globally connected, locally rooted, and compassionate community that advances challenges of social justice through research, scholarship, and engagement with partners.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and support students in the role of personal tutor, providing high-quality education and student support.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring all students benefit from studying in a research-intensive, research-excellent academic environment.
- Conduct research that demonstrates international standards of excellence in the subject area of Strategy, International Business and Society (SIBS), including a focus on sustainability.
- Pursue external funding, engage with external stakeholders, and develop research-based solutions to real-world problems.
- Supervise PGR students, undergraduate, and taught postgraduate students' research projects.
- Contribute to the research profile of the Business School, publishing high-quality outputs and developing an international research profile.
- A good Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- A PhD (or equivalent) at or near completion in a relevant subject aligned to the SIBS Research Community.
- Relevant Professional Body Membership as appropriate to the subject area (desirable).
- HE teaching qualification (or equivalent experience) (desirable).
