Lecturer in International Business and Strategy

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our dynamic and vibrant Leadership, Work and Organization (LWO) Subject Group at Newcastle University Business School. As a Lecturer in International Strategy and Business, you will be part of a globally connected, locally rooted, and compassionate community that advances challenges of social justice through research, scholarship, and engagement with partners.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students in international business and strategy, providing high-quality education and support.
- Conduct research that demonstrates international standards of excellence in the subject area of Strategy, International Business and Society (SIBS), with a focus on sustainability.
- Contribute to the research profile of the Business School by publishing high-quality outputs and pursuing external funding.
- Supervise PGR students and contribute to the development of research-led teaching.
- Engage with external stakeholders to develop the impact of your work and contribute to the Business School's global activities and development.
- A good Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject aligned to the SIBS Research Community.
- Experience of teaching and research in international business and strategy, with a strong track record of publications and grant capture.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with external stakeholders and contribute to the Business School's Vision and Strategy.
