Job Summary:

Purosearch Ltd is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Director/Care Home Administrator/Residential Care Manager to lead our nursing home/care home in Nelson, commutable from Burnley, Clitheroe, Preston, etc.

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on manager with a passion for delivering the best care. The ideal candidate will have previous home management experience and solid knowledge of nursing/elderly care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a beautiful luxury care home offering nursing and residential care to older people, including frail elderly and dementia service users.
  2. Ensure the care home operates to an excellent standard, meeting all quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for residents.
  4. Lead a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  5. Collaborate with external partners, including healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  6. Monitor and evaluate care home performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience as a Nursing Home Director/Care Home Administrator/Residential Care Manager, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  2. Strong knowledge of quality, compliance, and regulations within a care home setting.
  3. Excellent understanding of CQC requirements and experience of managing compliant care homes.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
