About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users, including personal, social, and domestic support, while adhering to their individual care and support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to service users in their own homes, including personal care, repositioning, and attending to clinical care needs.
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families, understanding their methods of communication and identifying their wants and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.
  • Participate in ongoing professional training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, including medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and their families.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including full-time waking nights and alternate weekends.
