Job Title: Children's Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide complex care to a young girl with complex needs in her home in Nelson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with personal care, repositioning, and clinical care needs throughout the night
  • Establish a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep
  • Understand and respond to the service user's methods of communication, including facial expressions and body language

Requirements:

  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience:

  • Brain Injury Experience
  • Epilepsy Awareness
  • PEG Feeding
  • Oral Suctioning

Shifts Available:

  • Full Time and Part Time Waking Nights
  • 10pm – 8am
  • 2-3 Shifts Per Week
  • Must be able to work alternate weekends

Pay Rates:

  • Weeknights £13.00 per hour (Approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturdays £13.50 per hour (Approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Sundays £13.50 per hour (Approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £150 per 10-hour shift)
