Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Social Work with Families

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team in Children's Social Care. As a Senior Practitioner, you will provide leadership and expertise in social work with families, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support to social workers in the team
  • Develop and implement evidence-based plans to support children and families
  • Conduct assessments and make professional judgments to inform decision-making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development of the team's practice and expertise
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date registration with Social Work England
  • Foundation level systemic practice qualification desirable
  • Practice Educator or Practice Teacher qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of national policy, strategy, and developments in children's social care
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, standards, and procedures
