Position Overview
The Brand Manager for Northern Europe will play a pivotal role in the formulation and execution of brand strategies and initiatives across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions, focusing on both existing and forthcoming diagnostic tests.
This position will primarily involve assisting in regional brand planning, reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager for Northern Europe, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and country leads to create, develop, and deliver high-quality content, materials, and programs that align with the overarching brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Brand Strategy Development: Assist in crafting brand strategies and lead key tactical initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring that country teams effectively adapt and implement these strategies.
- Strategic Marketing Advocacy: Promote a strategic marketing mindset by championing our brands, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistent implementation of our marketing strategy.
- Tactical Execution: Collaborate closely with commercial and medical teams to ensure that marketing tactics are relevant and aligned with brand objectives.
- Material Compliance: Guarantee that all marketing materials and activities are compliant, timely, and of high quality by working with medical and compliance teams.
- Progress Monitoring: Track the implementation of the tactical plan and report updates to the Senior Marketing Manager.
- Upholding Company Values: Demonstrate accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork in all aspects of work.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in a commercial role within the UK or EU.
- Experience in:
- Brand planning cycles in pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
- Collaborating with commercial field teams and cross-functional therapy area teams.
- Building relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant codes of practice.
- Knowledge of the market landscape in the UK and Nordic countries; familiarity with Ireland is a plus.
- Experience working with creative agencies and external partners to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong teamwork skills in a matrix organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and the ability to see the broader context.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Knowledge of Scandinavian languages is desirable.
