Are you a certified Building Safety Regulator (BSR) professional seeking a rewarding and dynamic opportunity? Carrington West is in search of a committed and skilled Building Control Supervisor to enhance our team.
Role Overview:
The Building Control Supervisor will oversee adherence to regulations, financial management, procedural governance, and the overall effectiveness of the Building Control department.
This position entails ensuring compliance with operational standards established by the BSR and managing revenue recovery through commercial initiatives.Management & Compliance Responsibilities:
oDirect the Building Control department and budget, ensuring adherence to BSR standards, LABC Quality Management Systems, and applicable legislation.
oGuarantee that key performance indicators and statistical data are reported accurately and promptly.
oRecruit, manage, develop, and promote the welfare of personnel within the department.
- oGuide and provide technical assistance to building inspectors, ensuring that only registered qualified individuals perform restricted tasks.
Performance & Client Service:
oContinuously assess and report on performance against established targets.
oDevelop and implement a performance framework aimed at measurable client enhancements.
oCollaborate with internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders to improve service delivery.
oEnsure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and organizational policies.
oConduct site evaluations for hazardous structures and out-of-hours tasks as required.
Must possess qualifications with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).
- Demonstrated experience in managing Building Control departments, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
