Gatwick Airport is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our strategic aims and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead Commercial Manager in delivering estimating, cost planning, and budget control for infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain standardised cost breakdown structures and templates for presenting estimates and cost plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to apply best practices in estimation and benchmarking.
  • Cultivate relationships with other airports and client organisations to establish external benchmarks and promote value and capital efficiency.
  • Define and produce metrics for evaluating the cost-effectiveness of project estimates.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in a relevant engineering, construction, or business-related field.
  • Experience as a Cost Planner/Senior Estimator on multi-year programmes/projects with a value above £50m.
  • Proven track record in designing business processes for cost estimating and implementing standardised Cost Breakdown Structures.
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure projects in a live operational environment is highly desirable.
