Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package, including a car allowance and hybrid working arrangement.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our client's project delivery team. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage projects, ensuring compliance with agreed scope, cost, and program specifications. This will involve supporting project design and estimation phases, attending start-up and design meetings, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate projects, ensuring compliance with agreed scope, cost, and program specifications.
- Design and Estimation: Support project design and estimation phases, ensuring client specifications are met efficiently and safely.
- Client and Team Collaboration: Attend start-up, site visit, and design meetings to ensure alignment and maintain communication on design adjustments.
- Procurement Management: Pre-qualify subcontractors, create material specifications, respond to queries, analyse bids, and manage orders.
- Budget Oversight: Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting for each project phase.
- Compliance and Improvement: Ensure design and procurement activities adhere to the Integrated Management System and suggest process improvements.
- Field Support: Provide on-site and remote support to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience in a design and build project delivery role within the water industry.
- Previous experience working in water/wastewater treatment environments.
- Willingness to travel to client sites.
- Clear, professional communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
