About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sister to join our Emergency Department team at the NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Sister, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and services
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience in an Emergency Care setting, preferably at Band 6 level
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of nursing policies and procedures
