We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sister to join our Emergency Department team at the NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Sister, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and services
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in an Emergency Care setting, preferably at Band 6 level
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of nursing policies and procedures
