Job Summary

Safran Helicopter Engines is seeking a skilled Pre Induction Technician to join our team in Fareham, UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out Induction Inspections on Safran Helicopter engines and modules, ensuring quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform arrival inventory on engines/modules, analyze documentation, and conduct preliminary inspections.
  • Identify discrepancies, such as missing components or excessive erosion, and take corrective action.
  • Ensure all required engine information is available for level 4 processing.
  • Explore repair options for engines in a level 3 maintenance center.
  • Update SAP Installed Base and Cockpit Work scope, and write Pre Induction Reports.
  • Perform secondary duties as defined by the manager.
  • Work in accordance with Company Operating Systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and report HSE risks to the manager or HSE representative.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Support and promote Company values and behaviors.

Requirements

  • Experience with Safran Helicopter Engine families (Arriel, Arrius, Makila) inspection.
  • Mechanical engineering experience post-apprenticeship.
  • Maintain high consistency of quality standard output.
  • Produce accurate Engine inspection reports.
