About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Director to join our team at Everlast Gyms. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering an elevated fitness experience to our members and mentoring the team to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness and wellness, promoting our brand values and mission.
- Lead national focuses and incentives, such as #WorkoutWednesday and in-gym challenges, to drive member engagement and retention.
- Advocate for our member onboarding program, MOVE, and deliver and lead by example in this area, supporting and training the wider team to improve confidence and delivery.
- Own the REDEFINE product, driving cohort sales and high levels of engagement throughout the program.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Fitness Coaches and Personal Trainers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional fitness experiences.
- Grow and optimize member engagement within your community, driving new member sales and retaining existing members to grow live member movement.
- Support the wider team by driving all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary sales, to drive profitability of the gym.
- Lead by example on reception and the gym floor, delivering honest and constructive feedback to support team members in achieving their potential.
- Drive personal training session sales to members and deliver personal training sessions each month.
Requirements
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness.
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
- CIMSPA Practitioner level certification.
- Strong leadership qualities and a passion for coaching others.
- Experience in delivering a variety of group training modalities.
- Ability to adapt communication and management style to motivate and inspire the team.
- Positive, solutions-driven mindset in the face of adversity.
- Member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviors and competencies specific to the role.
- Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
