We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. This is a newly created position following a strong period of growth for our firm.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Invoicing clients in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitoring Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure efficient cash flow
  • Implementing effective credit control measures to minimize bad debts
  • Arranging payment plans with clients to ensure timely payment
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • At least 12 months of sales ledger experience at a UK company
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
  • Ideal qualifications include studying towards an accounting certification, such as CIMA or AAT
  • Ability to commute to London
