We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. This is a newly created position following a strong period of growth for our firm.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Invoicing clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitoring Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure efficient cash flow
- Implementing effective credit control measures to minimize bad debts
- Arranging payment plans with clients to ensure timely payment
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- At least 12 months of sales ledger experience at a UK company
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- Ideal qualifications include studying towards an accounting certification, such as CIMA or AAT
- Ability to commute to London
