Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team at ENL Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our employment law team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including contentious and non-contentious issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of employment law matters, including advising clients on employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, and employment tribunal claims.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their employment law needs and provide tailored advice and solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of the employment law team's business development strategy and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other lawyers and professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and ensure that clients are aware of any relevant updates and developments.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in a commercial law firm, advising on respondent work.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and experience of advising clients on employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, and employment tribunal claims.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Commercial approach and ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex employment law issues.
