Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a Commercial Account Handler to become part of our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has experienced significant growth over the past 14 years, now comprising over 200 professionals across the UK. In this role, you will cultivate relationships with both new and existing clients, ranging from sole proprietors to the MD/CEO of large corporations, while collaborating closely with the Branch Manager to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail while reviewing client documentation to ensure comprehensive and accurate information supports the quoting process.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external contacts to meet expectations and compliance standards.
  • Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention rates while exceeding customer expectations and adhering to FCA requirements.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, as each day presents new challenges. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement as a Commercial Account Handler and to further your professional qualifications.
  • Efficiently process data on relevant systems to enhance client service, streamline internal processes, and facilitate informed analysis.
