Accommodation Partnerships Manager - Corporate Travel is sought for a prominent global travel consortium to collaborate closely with the head of accommodation. This position is remote and requires a background in a Travel Management Company (TMC) or hotel group, along with proficiency in Lanyon/Cvent and experience managing the RFP process. Knowledge of GDS systems is also essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Accommodation Partnerships Manager

  • The primary objective of this role is to cultivate and sustain relationships with accommodation partners.
  • Promote the Global Accommodation Programme and marketing initiatives to both new and existing hotel suppliers.
  • Oversee the RFP process utilizing Lanyon/Cvent for the Global Accommodation Programme and address supplier partner inquiries.
  • Assist in the annual RFP process, contracting over 60,000 properties.
  • Supervise GDS rate loadings for the Global Accommodation Programme.
  • Conduct regular account management meetings with existing supplier partners to enhance and maximize partnerships.
  • Generate regular reports from an online system to effectively manage supplier relationships and accounts.
  • Compile reports and statistics from supplier partners.
  • Manage the invoicing processes for supplier partners.
  • Participate in networking events to engage with both existing and prospective partners.

Required Skills for the Accommodation Partnerships Manager

  • Extensive experience with Lanyon/Cvent is mandatory.
  • A background in a similar capacity within a TMC or hotel group is crucial.
  • Proven experience in managing the RFP process.
  • Ideally, familiarity with GDS systems.
  • Experience in conducting face-to-face meetings.
  • A personable individual with a friendly demeanor and a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to attend events.
