Job Details

Job Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Harris Primary Academy Coleraine Park. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Support Students: Provide individualized support to students who require additional help, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
  • Develop and Implement Resources: Assist in creating and implementing resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies to support students' learning needs.
  • Evaluate Student Progress: Collaborate with teachers to evaluate students' progress through agreed assessment activities.
  • Provide Feedback: Offer regular and detailed feedback to teachers on students' achievement, progress, and needs.
  • Lead Small Group Sessions: Lead small group sessions and interventions as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree-level qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Workload Management: Manage and be responsible for own workload.
