Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and supervisors to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example

    As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading by example and ensuring that our brand values and vision are exemplified in all store operations and guest interactions.

  • Collaborate with Store Manager

    You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver results, prioritize tasks, and drive sales growth.

  • Maintain Merchandising Standards

    You will be responsible for maintaining merchandising standards to meet and exceed planned sales and key performance indicators.

  • Support Store Manager in Achieving Excellent Mystery Shopper Results

    You will support the Store Manager in achieving excellent mystery shopper results and implementing follow-up action plans when needed.

  • Cultivate a Positive Team Environment

    You will cultivate a positive team environment that promotes a safe and fun atmosphere.

  • Recruit, Train, and Develop Sales Associates and Supervisors

    You will recruit new members, identify training needs, mentor, and develop sales associates and supervisors to ensure a productive and collaborative team.

Requirements

  • Equivalent Work Experience in Retail

    You will have equivalent work experience in a retail environment, ideally as an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor.

  • Space Management and Visual Merchandising Expertise

    You will have space management and visual merchandising expertise.

  • Effective Organizational, Verbal, and Written Communication Skills

    You will have effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience of Working with Children

    You will have experience of working with children.

  • Experience in Recruitment, Selection, Training

    You will have experience in recruitment, selection, training.

  • Financial Awareness: Loss Prevention and Cash Management, Scheduling and Payroll Management

    You will have financial awareness: loss prevention and cash management, scheduling and payroll management.

  • Physical Specifications

    You will have physical specifications: constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Involves lifting.
