About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, choosing when you want to work, while still enjoying the benefits and security of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities that promote their development towards key milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues alike.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting, with a passion for making learning fun and engaging.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to use a variety of techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery and its children.
