About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Tenpin Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a great time when they visit us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for the operational management of the centre, ensuring seamless delivery of our services and exceptional customer experience.
  • Strive to achieve a culture that is totally focused on the delivery of the best possible level of customer service, exceeding customer expectations and driving loyalty.
  • Lead the team by example, ensuring everyone works together effectively to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Support the delivery of the company strategy, contributing to the development and implementation of business plans and initiatives.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Deputy Manager, taking on additional responsibilities and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Undertake ownership for own training and development to grow into the future role of Deputy Manager, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Support the other Managers in the achievement of all budgets, targets, and KPIs, working collaboratively to drive business growth and success.
  • Provide support to the team in various departments as and when required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that all policies, procedures, controls, and compliance areas are adhered to on a daily basis, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a management role, ideally within leisure, hospitality, or retail.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on creating a positive and memorable experience for our customers.
  • Experience in leading and developing large teams, with a proven track record of success.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and patience, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Ambitious and wanting to progress, with a desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
