Communications Officer

We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer to join our Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR) team at the University of Southampton.
As a Communications Officer, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering engaging content across multiple channels to strengthen relationships with university alumni and supporters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a content strategy to promote the university's brand and values
- Creating high-quality content for social media, email newsletters, and other channels
- Collaborating with the communications team to ensure consistency and quality across all content
- Managing and maintaining the university's social media presence
You will be working closely with the communications team to achieve our goals and objectives.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and content creation skills.
You will have a strong understanding of communications and marketing principles, with experience in creating engaging content for various audiences.
You will be confident and outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
You will be proactive and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
