About the Role

Chevron Traffic Management is seeking a skilled Vegetation Management Operative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vegetation management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cyclical grass cutting between March and October using a range of equipment, including tractors, mowers, and brush cutters.
  • Carry out weed control, tree and hedge work, including hazardous tree removal, sign and CCTV clearance, and hedgerow maintenance or reduction.
  • Clear paths and carry out planting schemes, including de-vegetation of ditches and other infrastructure.
  • Assist in the delivery of contractual obligations to an exceptional standard, working under the guidance of a supervisor.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including passing a Safety Critical Medical.
  • Full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
  • Enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude.
Desirable Qualifications
  • CSCS card.
  • ROLO certification.
  • Lantra Tractor Driving qualification.
  • Lantra Arm Mounted Cutting Equipment/Flail qualification.
  • NPTC Pesticides PA1 & PA6A certification.
  • NPTC Chainsaw CS30, CS31a, CS31b, CS38 & CS39 certification.
  • NPTC Chainsaw from a MEWP CS47 certification.
  • NPTC Brushwood Chippers certification.
  • IPAF – MEWPS certification.
