About the Role

Yokogawa UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Service & Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Centric Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients while serving as the technical focal point from sales to project closure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Initiate projects by designing systems and classifying SIL levels
  2. Plan and execute projects, including detailed design and safety lifecycle management
  3. Configure systems and provide technical specifications to procurement and supervision of suppliers
  4. Conduct internal testing, execute or lead Factory Acceptance Tests, and transition to site
  5. Install and commission systems, conduct Site Acceptance Tests, and ensure customer acceptance
  6. Monitor and control the quality of work, formalizing project closures
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or Industrial Automation sector
  • Minimum HNC qualification in an engineering or process-related subject
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while being an effective team player
  • Confident communication skills, professional manner, and ability to absorb and impart factual information
  • Applicants with Offshore certificates are highly desired, with full training provided
