Job Title: Experienced Field Service Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Matchtech Technology. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients in the controls and automation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and plan projects, including system design and SIL classification
  • Design and manage the safety lifecycle
  • Configure systems and provide technical specifications to procurement
  • Supervise suppliers and conduct internal testing
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests, site installation, and commissioning
  • Conduct Site Acceptance Tests and ensure customer acceptance
  • Monitor the quality of work and formalize project closures

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial automation environment
  • Minimum HNC qualification in an engineering or process-related subject
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Highly motivated and flexible, willing to work at various locations across the UK and offshore
  • Values respect, collaboration, and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a structured team
  • Confident communicator with a professional manner
