Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Ward Simpson Ltd. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering audit engagements from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients ranging in size and sectors, acting as the main point of contact for clients and liaising with them throughout the audit cycle.
- Team Management: Manage teams through the planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit engagements, monitoring budgets and keeping the audit director and partner updated on progress.
- Performance Management: Manage and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure the effective and timely delivery of engagements.
- Tendering: Assist in tendering for new clients and maintaining and developing client relationships through written communication and face-to-face meetings.
- Business Development: Liaise with other departments to efficiently complete jobs and add value to clients' needs.
- Professional Development: Continue developing your technical skills in all areas of accounting and auditing standards.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with proven UK External Audit experience gained with a UK Accountancy Practice. The firm offers a friendly and supportive team environment and structured career progression with an attractive salary and benefits package.
