Nursery Room Leader Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote children's learning and development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in childcare and education.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or education, such as NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip, or NVQ level 3.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
