Contract Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Supervisor to join our team at H.W. Martin Group. As a Contract Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Household Waste Recycling Centres and Transfer Stations.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Supervise and manage a diverse team of direct and sub-contracted staff.
- Achieve performance targets and report progress through management information reports.
- Inspect and monitor operational facilities for compliance with required standards.
- Implement and monitor operational plans to ensure HWRCs and Transfer Stations meet required standards.
- Assist in the delivery of quality and service improvements across the area.
- Represent the company at internal and external meetings as required.
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Flexibility for extensive travel as required.
- Experience driving heavy plant is preferred.
- Certificate of Technical Competency qualified in Hazardous Waste transfer or willing to work towards obtaining the qualification.
